With over 20 years of experience as a general contractor in Southern California, Josh has transformed countless homes, properties, and commercial spaces. From 2018 to 2021, he took on a personal project—converting his grandparents’ 1954 Crown Coach into a fully upgraded home on wheels, powered by 3,160 watts of solar. Inspired by childhood travels with his grandparents, this renovation sparked a passion for creating custom solar-powered solutions for life on the move.     CIS solar design is truly a lifesaver! My daughter is riding her bicycle from Bar Harbor, Maine to Key West and in the final 10 days, the converter on our travel trailer broke, and we could not charge the batteries, which meant no AC in the Florida heat. Not a good thing when you’re living in an aluminium box. I called CIS and within two hours they helped me find a lithium ion battery charger and even customize it with clips to attach to the trailer batteries and charge it up fast and safe. We will be sleeping in an air-conditioned airstream for the rest of our trip and my daughter will be able to finish her bike ride safely. These guys are awesome, if you have any solar needs for your boat or RV, do not call anyone else, but CIS.
